Wichman Law Firm was happy to help facilitate Christmas gifts for less fortunate children to open up for Christmas this year!  Our office in downtown Miami, Florida was a local drop off center for Cross Catholic Outreach, a non-profit Catholic organization headquartered in South Florida, which puts on the program and accepts Boxes of Joy from donors and donor groups across the United States to give to less fortunate children throughout the world and especially in impoverished areas.  A “Box of Joy” is a shoebox sized gift filled with toys and everyday items a child might find necessary and fun to have and recieve as a gift, with gifts either being specific to a boy or girl, or a certain age group, or neutral to all.  Cross Catholic Outreach then adds to each box a rosary and a Christian story and reading material for them to also have as part of their gift prior to distributing to the children.  As one of many drop off centers around the country, Wichman Law Firm’s office in Miami, FL served the area and received close to 200 Box of Joy gifts to be later.sent off to kids for the holiday.  This was our first year doing it and we will again next year in Miami, as well as likely at oir Kansas City office to serve that area as well in this cause.  Attorney Wichman was thrilled to see all the neat and creative  individual boxes filled with a variety of tones and trinkets from different people and groups in the area, including a studet business group from the University of Miami.  We thank Cross Catholic Outreach for putting the program on and giving us all a great opportunity to help others in this way by being a Santa Claus!  We hope the children enjoy the gifts and have a Merry Christmas!  🎅 🎄
