Criminal Defense Attorney Kevin Wichman gave the real life perspective of the character Atticus Finch from ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ for local grade school students on a panel with a Jackson County prosecutor whom he has had a high profile case against in the past and the Chief Judge of Wyandotte County courthouse, all giving their respective real life outlooks from the characters portrayed in the famous and well acclaimed book and movie that the students had been studying. Mr. Wichman had a great time answering their pointed and inquisitive questions and providing some insight and clarity to these difficult life situations, the careers involved, and their role in society.
